Terry Geddis’ Movember Cycling Challenge for Zachary Geddis Trust

Throughout November, to raise awareness of men’s mental ill health, Terry Geddis is cycling 221 Miles in memory of the 221 lives lost to suicide in 2023.

Out of the 171 of the 221 lives lost were male, an extremely concerning statistic.

Terry begun his challenge on 1st November and will cycle for one hour each day at Pure Gym in Coleraine to raise funds for the Zachary Geddis Trust.

The number 221 represents the lives lost to suicide in Northern Ireland in 2023; each one of them will be in his thoughts, along with their families who have been left behind.
This challenge is also part of his training for his 2026 24-hour cycle.
Terry aims to cycle continuously from the top to the bottom of Ireland, in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
Every mile he cycles is for a life remembered and for the work that continues in Zachary’s name.
