Christmas can be a time for fun, family, feasting and friendship for many. For many others, Christmas can be a cold and difficult time, where loneliness, poverty and challenges can feel more oppressive than at other times of the year. We want to help, and with the support of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, we have launched our annual Alternative Xmas Campaign 2023.
Our Alternative Xmas is ZGBTST’s longest running campaign and in 2022 we delivered food and wellbeing packs to 207 homes across the Borough. With the support of £3000, this year has an even bigger capacity than before and we are looking forward to getting it started.
Food and wellbeing packs will be distributed from Monday 18th – Tuesday 26th December. During this time, we will also offer a daily be-friending service, crisis help-line and extended counselling.
