Zachary Geddis Trust - The Voice of Those Suffering in Silence

The Zachary Geddis Trust is dedicated to being the ongoing legacy of Zachary Geddis, who suffered from mental health issues from the age of 14. Tragically, we lost Zachary on 18th March 2017 and have faced the full force of being bereaved by suicide since the day he left us.

As a family of campaigners, we spend our lives promoting the need for more accessible, inclusive, immediate and individualised mental health services across Northern Ireland.

We proudly launched Zachary Geddis Trust (originally a small advocacy and campaigning organisation) on 16th October 2017 on what would have been Zachary’s 21st Birthday.

Having opened our first grassroots mental health centre in 2022, Zachary Geddis Trust has now grown into one of Northern Ireland’s most respected and well-known grassroots non-profit charities assisting over 200 individuals weekly from age 5 and above.
