ZGBTST Memory Trees Planting Ceremony

ZGBTST celebrated a special day recently supporting local families plant memory trees in tribute to their loved ones who have passed.

The families of Leo McBride, Mervyn Blair, Trevor James McKillop and Paddy \Mulholland came together to dig, plant and secure a cherry blossom tree and celebrate their loved ones lives through the tree planting ceremony.

The families and friends who gathered for the occasion shows the deep love which exists for those who have been lost from the effects of suicide.

£25,000 has been raised for ZGBTST by these families in the last 18 months and we are so grateful for their support.

Trees represent the lasting symbol of life and it is fitting that the tree ceremony signifies a permanent tribute which helps the family to grieve and remember.

We wanted to give back to the bereaved families who have supported ZGBTST and we hope to make the tree planting day an annual event to contribute to and repay those families.
