Zachary Geddis Trust Announces New Belfast Exposed Partnership Programme
We are proud to partner with Belfast Exposed for our ‘Exposing the Silence’ project on a new workshop as part of the Therapeutic Photography collaboration.
This unique workshop will take place on Thursdays from 2pm – 4pm from 23rd October to 29th January at Belfast Exposed, 23 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2FF.
Please note a Causeway Coast and Glens workshop date will be released at end of October.
Using the creative process of photography for self-reflection, emotional expression and empowerment, we are offering a unique way to process emotions and life-changing experiences.
It also aims to build coping mechanisms and self-esteem, allowing participants to create an understanding of themselves.
The programme offers confidential counselling through The Zachary Geddis Trust, complimenting the Therapeutic Photography and utilises the images captured by each to communicate when words are difficult.
NHA waiting lists will be alleviated through this complementary service by providing counselling to people not already receiving this service.
Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland have funded this programme through their Collaborative Fund.
Please note this is not a drop-in service, and pre-registration is essential.
